Cefadroxil 250mg

Each vial of Fabafixim 50 oral suspension powder contains:
Active ingredient: Cefixim (as Cefixim trihydrate) 300mg
Ingredients excipients: white sugar, natribenzoat, xanthan gum, strawberry flavoring powder, PEG 6000, colloidal silicon dioxide, ponceau color 4R (E124), just 1 vial 6 g

Description: White to pinkish white powder, loose, non-sticky hands, sweet taste, characteristic aroma, easy to pack in a plastic bottle, with a closed cap.

Drugs for children over 6 months old, infections caused by susceptible bacteria:
Bronchial and lung infections
Acute otitis media, including recurrent otitis media
Acute pyelonephritis: at least 4 days after intravenous antibiotic treatment.
Lower urinary tract infections in children over 3 years old and severe external infections.

Adults:
Usual dose: 200-400 mg / day can be used once or divided into 2 times 12 hours apart.
Should use a more suitable dosage form: tablets, capsules.

Children:
Children ≥ 12 years old or weighing> 50 kg take the same dose as adults.
Children from 30 months to 12 years: 100 mg twice daily.
Children from 6 months to 30 months: 8 mg / kg / day in 2 divided doses / day, 12 hours apart.

Renal impairment: No dose adjustment is required in patients with creatinine clearance greater than 20 ml / min. For patients with lower creatinine clearance, including hemodialysis, the dose of cefixime should not exceed 4 mg / kg / day.
Hepatic impairment: No dose adjustment is required.

Turn the bottle upside down and shake to loosen the powder.
Add 2 times, each time 10 ml of cool boiling water is added to the bottle, each time adding water to shake well.
Fill up to the mark with water.
Shaken. Shake well before each medication.
Close the lid tightly and store the diluted medicine in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8oC.

Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cefixime or to other cephalosporin antibiotics, people with a history of penicillin-induced anaphylaxis or allergies to other ingredients of the medicinal product.
